Rene Marie Russo, an American film director and actress who was once a supermodel is also a director of films. The fights caught the eye to Dana White who signed her to join the UFC Strawweight at the age of 22. Rose defeated Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout after under three minutes Round One. Rose was also given the title of Fighter Of The Night and was a pioneer in the sport as it marked the first time women had ever competed in a tournament in a major promotional organization across the globe. In the aftermath of this win Namajunas went onto have several more successful fights including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC following these victories .
